The Cranberry Fesitval is held each year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The next Cranberry Festival is October 8th, 2022.
This grassroots event was supported by the local community and, with its success, has grown to become a much loved annual event, celebrating and recognizing the cranberry's role in our local history going back thousands of years.
While celebrating the region's history and tradition, with the Cranberry Festival, we want to create a great day out, support local businesses and vendors, entertain and bring the community and visitors together in the heart of Fort Langley.
The Cranberry Festival was started in 1995 to celebrate the annual harvest and the history of the cranberry in the area and Fort Langley's earlier years.
Annual attendence is about 35,000 people. It continues to grow, promoting the community and supporting local business.
In agreement with the Fort Langley Business Improvement Assocation, the Eric Woodward Foundation assumed long-term stewardship of the Cranberry Festival in 2020.
The event is operated on a non-profit basis, and almost broke even in 2021.
